Asus flooded the Indian market on August, 2015 with its three new handsets in ZenFest. Zenpad 7 is a wonderful device that was initially launched at a price tag of 12,999 INR. It was slightly expensive than Zenpad C and cheaper than Zenpad 8. Let us go through this brief review on Asus Zenpad 7 and discover some of its awesome features.
Display
Zenpad 7 comes with 7 inches display screen having a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The display is not too much sharp, but is better than other tablets of its era. Further, its display is well protected with Corning Gorilla Glass and has Oleophobic coating on the top. The touch is responsive and colors produced by this tablet are just awesome.
Design
Zenpad 7 has got a dual tone design. Back panel color is different as compared to its body and it has a faux leather finish that makes the device more appealing. Zenpad is one of the best tablets in the market to eye at. The volume keys are present of top right side of the device. You will find an 8MP camera at the back nothing else. Earpiece is situated on the topmost front in the centre, while there is a primary camera alongside.

Camera
Most of the tablets do not pay attention to the camera and same is the case with Asus Zenpad 7. The device may boast of having 8MP camera, but the camera quality is not at all up to the mark. Moreover, it misses flash. The front camera is just 2MP that works decently for a selfie to be clicked or for a video call. The rear camera works exceptionally well in high light, but fails to deliver the picture quality when lights become dim.
Battery
Asus Zenpad 7 comes with Li-Po battery that is monstrous. It is a non removable battery of 13wh. It offers a talk time of more than 8 hours and can run throughout the day even on heavy usage. If you need a tablet for regular usage then Zenpad 7 should be the first choice that you can make.
Performance
Zenpad 7 is packed with 2 GB RAM. The Intel Quad Core processor makes it efficient for multitasking. This device can run good graphics games like Dead Trigger 2, Asphalt 8, and Modern Combat 5. But, if you try playing heavier games like Nova 3 or GTA San Andreas, the device will start showing you lag that is quite irritating while playing the game. Rest, the device is best for normal usage and you can expect the optimum level of performance.
Final Say
Zenpad 7 is offering enormous range of features at a cheaper price as compared to other tablets. If you are looking for a high-end device then this tablet can be brought into consideration. The tablet is affordable and is also available at discounted price on different stores. If you are a movie freak or love listening songs then the device surely not fail to entertain you.
