Asus launched its much awaited ZenPower Powerbank and made it to available to buy in India. On Friday, Asus made its ZenPower portable charger available to buy here in India which can be bought from Asus exclusive stores and e-commerce website Flipkart.
They launched their ZenPower power bank during the launch of Asus ZenFone 2 smartphone series in India last month. The ZenPower’s Silver, Pink, Blue, and Gold colour variants are priced at Rs. 1,499, and the Black colour variant is priced at Rs. 1,599.
From looks and specifications the Powerbank is looking good. It’s battery capacity is 10050mAh. Its Output power is 5.1 V, battery type is Li-Ion. Its dimensions are good and should not be difficult to carry in pockets. Its weight is 215g, and the powerbank measures 90.5x59x 22mm .
As i mentioned earlier, the powerbank is looking good in first looks, specs are good too. However, i still need to check it hands on once we get a review unit.
Everything else is looking good but to be honest i am worried about its price. It is priced at 1499 and 1599 which is around 50% and 10% more of its competitors Xiaomi 10400 mAh powerbank and the recently launched OnePlus 10000mAh powerbank respectively. However, customers like me decide on performance, if it out perform the other two then it can be better choice over its competitors but as i said earlier, price should have been 10-20% less than it is currently.
