The newly updated device by Asus is surely going to stun most of you. Though the external configuration has been merely changed, but there are good changes in the internals of the devices. Let us go through a brief review of this device.

Design & Built

The newly updated Asus shows the similar design as we have seen in its past model that was launched in January this year. The smartphone features same textured rubber back with a plastic body. The back can be removed to reveal 5000mAh non-removable battery and access to microSD card slot and SIM card slots.

This smartphone weighs 202g which is slightly more than most of the smartphones of the modern era with similar construction. It measures 77.5 x156 x 10.55mm. The rubberized back of this smartphone gives it a quality feel. Though its frame appears to be made of metal, but the truth gets revealed when you bring it near. The volume rockers and power buttons on the right edge are made with commendable quality.

The 3.5mm audio jack rests on the top edge of this device while the microUSB port is on the bottom edge along with a primary mic. The secondary mic is present on the back above rear camera. The camera module has laser AF.

Asus has included a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and laser AF which will significantly improve the quality of images taken from the back camera. The 5MP front facing camera is a delight for the selfie lover. The camera app also comes with a number of effects to improve the quality of the image.

It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor coupled with 2GB or 3GB RAM and a large storage of 32GB. The memory can be expanded to 64GB by adding a memory card to its microSD card slot.
